Biography

Michael Keith Simpson is the incumbent U.S. representative for Idaho's 2nd congressional district, a position he has held since 1999. Prior to his election to Congress, Simpson served in the Idaho House of Representatives, including as Speaker from 1992 to 1998. His district encompasses much of eastern Idaho as well as the northern two-thirds of Boise.
