Biography

Amish Shah is a physician and Democratic politician from Arizona who previously served in the state House of Representatives, representing District 24 from 2019 to 2023 and District 5 in 2023-2024. He is seeking the Democratic nomination for U.S. House in Arizona's 1st congressional district in the 2026 election, having run unsuccessfully for the seat in 2024 against incumbent Republican David Schweikert.
