Biography

Terri Sewell is a lawyer and Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Alabama's 7th congressional district since 2011. Her district encompasses much of Alabama's Black Belt region and predominantly African American areas of Birmingham and Tuscaloosa. She is seeking reelection to her current House seat.
