Biography

Pete Sessions is a Republican who has represented Texas's 17th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives since 1997. He previously served as chair of the House Rules Committee from 2013 to 2019 and as chair of the National Republican Congressional Committee. Sessions is seeking reelection to his House seat.
