Biography

Hillary Scholten is a U.S. Representative from Michigan's 3rd congressional district, serving since 2023. She is an attorney who previously worked for the Department of Justice and in private practice. Scholten is the first woman and first Democrat to represent the district since 1993, representing Grand Rapids and surrounding West Michigan communities.
