Biography

Josh Riley is a Democratic U.S. representative for New York's 19th congressional district, a position he has held since 2025. A lawyer by training, Riley previously served as a policy analyst at the U.S. Department of Labor and as counsel on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee. His district encompasses southeastern Upstate New York, including the cities of Ithaca and Binghamton as well as rural areas.
