Biography

Scott Peters is a lawyer and U.S. Representative from California currently serving the state's 50th congressional district, which encompasses coastal and central San Diego as well as the suburbs of Poway and Coronado. He has represented California's congressional districts since 2013, previously serving the 52nd district before redistricting created his current seat in 2023.
