Biography

Jimmy Panetta is a lawyer and former Navy intelligence officer who has served as the U.S. representative for California's 19th congressional district since 2016. Before his election to Congress, he worked as a deputy district attorney for Monterey County. His district encompasses much of California's Central Coast, including portions of San Jose, Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Luis Obispo County.
