Biography

Gary Palmer is a Republican U.S. representative for Alabama's 6th congressional district, a position he has held since 2015. His district encompasses affluent areas of Birmingham and surrounding suburbs. Before his election to Congress, Palmer co-founded and served as president of the Alabama Policy Institute, a conservative think tank.
