Biography

Richard Ojeda is a retired United States Army major and former West Virginia state senator who represented the 7th district from 2017 to 2019. A Democrat, he previously ran a brief campaign for President in 2020 and is now seeking election to the U.S. House of Representatives in North Carolina's 9th congressional district.
