Biography

Grace Meng is a lawyer and Democrat serving as the U.S. representative for New York's 6th congressional district, which encompasses multiple neighborhoods in Queens, since 2013. She previously represented the 22nd district in the New York State Assembly from 2009 to 2012. Meng is the first Asian American elected to the United States Congress from New York.
