Biography

Robert Menendez is a lawyer and former U.S. Senator from New Jersey who previously served in the House of Representatives representing New Jersey's 13th congressional district from 1993 to 2006, before being elected to the Senate in 2006. He resigned from the Senate in 2024 following a conviction in a political corruption case. Menendez is a member of the Democratic Party.
