Biography

Tina Smith is the junior United States senator from Minnesota, a position she has held since 2018. Before her election to the Senate, she worked as a political consultant and businesswoman in Minnesota. Smith is a member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party, an affiliate of the Democratic Party.
