Biography

Cynthia Lummis is an attorney and Republican serving as the junior U.S. Senator from Wyoming since 2021. She previously represented Wyoming's at-large congressional district in the House from 2009 to 2017, and held several state offices including positions in the Wyoming House and Senate and the state treasurership from 1999 to 2007. Lummis is seeking reelection to her current Senate seat.
